The Views Womens 18 Hole Golf Club
REGULAR PLAY DAY IS TUESDAY
* Official USGA handicaps required

* Max handicap from Forward Tees is 40
* Membership fee includes league dues and a 25% discount on soft goods (clothing) in the pro shop
* Sign up by Sunday via Golf Genius, an online app. There will be an email reminder sent out weekly
* Games vary and money awarded by flights for low scores, ringers, birdies
* Hole-In-One competition optional
* Season long Chip-in fee is optional
WINTER SEASON NOV—APRIL
* Tee Times/Shotgun: Nov 8am, Dec-Feb 8:30 am, Mar 8am, Apr 7:30 am
* If you can’t play, call ahead and cancel, we do have a No Show/Late policy
* Check in at Pro Shop 30 minutes prior to starting tee time. We meet as a group 15 min (shotgun) before
* Game day fees are $5.00 and are collected at the Pro Shop when you check in before golf. You must have a credit card on file in the Pro Shop.
* Check Golf Genius for pairings, starting hole and to verify your handicap to GHIN
* Use on course electronic scoring via your cell phone in the Golf Genius app
* Need help scoring or with rules? Check with your foursome or our rules chairwomen
* When game is over, attest scores recorded in Golf Genius
* Failure to attest scores results in disqualification
* Tuesday scores posted by Pro Shop via Golf Genius
* USGA index and handicaps are updated daily
SUMMER SEASON MAY—OCT
* 7:30 AM start time, tee time format
* Sign up to play online via Golf Genius
* Adjust score for your maximum hole score
* Keep and post your score via online or using the USGA GHIN app, preferably hole-by-hole scores

* General membership meeting first Tuesday of month after golf
* Opening and closing of winter season
* Chili and Holiday Party
* Cure for Cancer Fundraising Tournament
* Member Guest Tournament
* Club Competitions: Solheim Cup, President’s Cup, Club Championship
* Hole-in-One buy-in is optional

* AGA State Medallion competition
CATALINA CUP (cancelled for season 2020-21)
* 3 two person teams represent the Views in competition with other local clubs
* Opportunity to play on other local courses
* Maximum handicap index of 26.0
* Team captains make player selection based on index
KACHINA COMPETITION
* Individuals play with members of other clubs in fun competition
* 2 person best ball format
* Sign up on Golf Genius and pay
* Maximum handicap allowed is 36
COMMUNICATION
* News, results and other information is communicated to all members via email
* A mini Telephone/Email/Birthday book will be distributed to all Members
* All other Club documents will be available in Golf Genius
* New members are set up and instructed on the use of Golf Genius
* Questions can be answered by your Club President or Vice President
HANDICAPS
* Handicaps required for league play, previous GHIN# accepted
* New players without an established handicap may turn in 5, 18 hole score cards to establish handicap
* Scores on league days will be posted for you (Golf Genius)
* Other play dates must be posted by the member via online or using the USGA GHIN app
